On January 07, 2020, at 2:29 AM, La Quinta deputies responded to a residential burglary in the 45200 block of Desert Fox, in the city of La Quinta, regarding a residential burglary. The La Quinta Special Enforcement assumed the investigation and discovered the suspects were captured on neighborhood surveillance cameras. On January 09, 2020, at approximately 3:28 PM, La Quinta deputies responded to a residential burglary in the 54400 block of Avenida Martinez, in the city of La Quinta. The La Quinta Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation and determined the suspects were the same suspects from the residential burglary on January 07, 2020. The investigation led the team to an apartment complex in the 81800 block of Shadow Palm, in the city of Indio, were the suspect vehicle was located. During a surveillance operation the suspects were identified as two 14-year-old juveniles of Indio. A search warrant was served at the apartment complex and the juveniles were taken into custody. During the search warrant stolen property was recovered, along with a loaded unregistered firearm.  The juveniles were booked into the Juvenile Hall in Indio.
