On July 1st, 2019, deputies from the Southwest Station’s Special Enforcement Team served a search warrant at a residence, in the unincorporated area of Murrieta, regarding the suspected illegal cultivation of marijuana and theft of utilities. Upon serving the search warrant, deputies located more than 500 marijuana plants, cocaine, high capacity magazines and a firearm. In addition, hazardous illegal modifications had been made to the residential electrical panel which allowed the theft of electricity to occur.  

Christopher Reyes (25 years) was located at the residence and was arrested for the following crimes: Possession of Narcotics with a Firearm, Felony Theft of Utilities, Conspiracy, and Illegal Cultivation of Marijuana.
