On June 28, 2019, at 7:45 am, deputies from the Special Enforcement Team assigned to the Perris Station served a narcotics related search warrant in the 300 block of Bond Drive, in the city of Perris. During the service of the search warrant, deputies located a loaded firearm, approximately 2.5 ounces of methamphetamine, and additional items indicative of narcotic sales. Robert Alcantar Lopez, a 45-year-old resident of Perris, was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of narcotics for sales, and committing a felony while out on bail. Alcantar was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for the above listed charges. Bail was set at 1 million dollars for Alcantar.
