Press Release: Arrests of Two Suspects in the Illegal Cultivation of Marijuana

On Friday, June 21, 2019, at 9:00 AM, members of the Eastvale Special Enforcement Team, Jurupa Valley Special Enforcement Team and the Riverside County Region #7 Gang Task Force, served search warrants on the 7000 block of Alderwood Ave and the 13000 block of Laurelwood Ave., in the city of Eastvale, regarding illegal marijuana cultivation.

Deputies investigated and determined the properties had been converted to support illegal indoor marijuana cultivation and there was evidence that marijuana plants were harvested inside the properties. There were a couple of people home at the time of the search warrant at the Alderwood address. Deputies recovered a combined total amount from both locations of over 4,732 marijuana plants and 70 pounds of processed marijuana. The estimated combined full harvest street value was $4,258,800. Also, a combined theft of utilities worth $60,228.  Eastvale Code Enforcement were summoned to both location’s and conducted their own separate investigation into various building code violations.

Cao Baikeng Su Zhuoxian

The following subjects were arrested for illegal marijuana cultivation and possession with intent to sell and theft of utilities. Subjects were booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center:  

  1. Zhuoxian, Su, 24-year old resident of the city of Rosemead.
  2. Baikeng, Cao, 44-year old resident of the city of Rosemead.
