On 1/9/10, R.O.V.E. deputies participated in a public demonstration at the opening “Monster Energy Supercross Race” held at Angel’s Stadium. The event was sponsored by the American Motorcycle Association and was attended by over 50,000 off-road enthusiasts; of whom great majorities were Riverside County residents. Of these attendees, thousands visited the R.O.V.E. display. Deputies fielded questions and they assisted in clarifying issues regarding off-highway vehicle use. Educational materials were dispersed to most of the visitors. These materials serve to educate the public as to safe riding practices and legal venues within our county.
The full-time Riverside County Off-Highway Vehicle Enforcement Team (R.O.V.E.) is committed to ensuring public safety, education and quality of life throughout the county. To this end, R.O.V.E. will continue these types of operations throughout the year within the indicated areas and at various other locations within Riverside County.
