On January 14, 2020, at 1:17 P.M., a motor deputy was conducting traffic enforcement on the 27000 block of CA-74, City of Menifee. The deputy conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle and contacted the driver/sole occupant. During the traffic stop, deputies located over 130 pounds of marijuana. The confiscated marijuana had an estimated value of over $100,000. Salvador Cazares, age 52 of Hemet, was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for possession and transportation of marijuana for sales
