On Saturday, 11/04/17, at 5:53 AM, officers from the Perris Police Department responded to a report of a hit and run traffic collision on Harley Knox Blvd. in the city of Perris. A semi-tractor with trailer collided with a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was found unresponsive in the roadway. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the Semi-tractor with trailer fled the scene.

The Perris Traffic Reconstruction Unit responded to the location. Eastbound lanes of Harley Knox Blvd. were temporarily closed during this investigation.  The deceased name is being withheld pending notification to his family.
