On February 01, 2010, at 8:50 PM, the Menifee Police Department responded to a residence in the area of 29200 block of Whitewater Drive, Menifee reference a reported burglary. During the investigation, deputies found the suspects entered the victim’s garage and loaded two of the victim’s vehicles with the victim’s personal property. The suspects pulled the vehicles onto the street and re-entered the victim’s house where they were confronted by the victim. The suspects ran from the house and were spotted by the residents of the neighborhood.
With the direction from the neighbors, deputies found Esteban Velez (18 years), and Abram Acosta (19 years), hiding in the neighborhood. The subjects were arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center for being suspects in the burglary.
