Payne File Number: ME10017032 Details: On Sunday, January 17, 2010, about 1015 hours, deputies from the Perris Station responded to the Mormon Church, located on Bradley Road, in the city of Menifee, reference a suspicious circumstance. Upon arrival, they were informed of a suspicious package that had been found in the parking lot of the church. The church was evacuated and the Sheriff’s Department Hazardous Device Team was called out. Members of the Hazardous Device Team responded to the location and examined the package. After careful evaluation, the Hazardous Device Team determined the package was not a threat.
