Click for Flier On January 9, 2010, about 3:50 AM, Perris Police officers responded to a burglary alarm at Langston Motor Sports, located at 1622 Illinois Avenue, City of Perris. When they arrived they found someone had broken a window to the business. The suspects entered through the broken window and stole eight off-road motorcycles. The suspects loaded the motorcycles into a 14-foot U-Haul truck and left the area prior to the deputies’ arrival.
Of the eight motorcycles that were stolen, two of them were custom-made for the owner’s son, professional motorcycle racer Grant Langston. Grant won two world-championship races riding those motorcycles. They are described as 2005 and 2006, custom, green Kawasaki KX250s. The other motorcycles are described as follows: 2008 Yamaha TTR50 (blue), 2008 Yamaha TTR125 (blue), 2007 Kawasaki KX250F (green), 2008 Kawasaki KX450F (green), and two, 2007 KTM 65SXs (orange).
Detectives obtained video surveillance footage of the suspects leaving in a U Haul van, with a picture of a fish depicted on the side. For further information regarding the suspects and the U-Haul truck, please refer to the attached flier.
