David Grodski

On December 25, 2017, deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported embezzlement and credit card fraud, at a business in the 7300 block of El Paseo, located within the city of Palm Desert. The victim reported multiple fraudulent transactions on the businesses credit card, between December 22, 2017 and December 25, 2017. The credit card in question had been issued to a former employee and never returned upon his termination.

The Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation, and identified 58-year-old, Palm Desert resident, David Grodski, as a suspect involved in the thefts. On January 17, 2017, Grodski was located and arrested in the 73200 Block of Hwy 111, within the city of Palm Desert. A search warrant was authored and served at a residence located in the 73200 block of Catalina Way, located within the city of Palm Desert, where Grodski was known to reside. Deputies recovered over $2000.00 worth of stolen property related to the thefts.  Grodski was booked into the Riverside County Jail, located in the city of Indio for embezzlement, credit card fraud and burglary.
