Details:

On Monday, June 10, at 9:06 AM, deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff Department, responded to the report of a bank robbery at a business within the 42000 block of Bob Hope Drive, in the city of Rancho Mirage. Within minutes, deputies arrived and confirmed the reports of a robbery.

The investigation revealed an unknown race male entered the business, brandished a firearm, and fled the location with an undisclosed amount of cash prior to deputies’ arrival. No citizens or bank staff were injured during the incident.

Deputies conducted a widespread search of the area, but did not locate the suspect. He was further described as an unknown race adult male, last seen wearing dark clothing and a dark cover over his face.

The Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station is asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact investigators at 760-836-1600.
