On June 4, 2019, at 6:34 pm, Officers from the Rancho Mirage Desert Police Department responded to a reported traffic collision in the 68000 block of Frank Sinatra Drive, within the city of Rancho Mirage. Officers determined a black Land Rover traveling northbound on Frank Sinatra Drive veered off the roadway and collided with a palm tree at the location. The driver of the Land Rover, River Potter, age 20 of Los Angeles, was determined to have been operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. After being medically cleared at a local hospital, River Potter was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio for driving under the influence of alcohol.
