On June 02, 2019, at 11:54 pm, Officers from the Palm Desert Police Department responded to a reported traffic collision in the 39000 block of East Desert Greens Drive, Palm Desert. Officers determined a silver Honda sedan traveling eastbound on East Desert Greens Drive collided with a parked vehicle at the location. The driver of the Honda, Marylynn Mattauch, age 77 of Palm Desert, was found to have been operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. After being medically cleared at a local hospital, Marylynn Mattauch was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact, Officer Christopher Williams from the Palm Desert Police Department at 760-836-1600, or Crime Stoppers at 760-341-STOP (7867). The Palm Desert Police Department urges all drivers not to drink and drive.
