Details:

On March 29, 2019, at 3:00 am officers from the Rancho Mirage Police Department responded to a traffic collision near the intersection of Hwy 111 and Paxton Drive, in the city of Rancho Mirage. Upon arrival, officers observed a single-vehicle involved collision. Ranjeet Minocha , 32 years, of Palm Desert, showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. After further investigation, Minocha was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Minocha was transported to a local area hospital as a precaution. Due to the extent of his injuries, charges will be filed out of custody.

The Rancho Mirage Police Department encourages all drivers not to drink and drive. To report drunk drivers, please call 911.
