Fred Waring Drive and Town Center Way, Palm Desert

On Thursday, December 6, 2018, at approximately 6:00 PM, officers from the Palm Desert Police Department responded to a three-vehicle traffic collision at Fred Waring Drive and Town Center Way, Palm Desert. It was determined the driver, Andre Rosales, 32, of Coachella was driving a tan sedan eastbound on Fred Waring Drive, when he failed to stop at the red light at Town Center and collided with two vehicles. Major injuries were sustained as a result of the collision. During the investigation it was determined that Rosales showed the symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol. Rosales was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and booked into the Riverside County Jail in Banning.
