Details:

On Thursday, November 8, 2018, at approximately 8:46 PM, officers from the Indian Wells Police Department responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision at Highway 111 and Cook Street, Indian Wells.  It was determined the driver, Valerie Bush, 66 years of Indio, was travelling eastbound on Highway 111 when her vehicle collided with a gray SUV, which was stopped for a red light at Cook Street.  No injuries were reported.  During the investigation it was determined that Bush showed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol.  Bush was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol, and was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.  Once treated, she was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
