Blaize Bowdle

On Sunday, November 12, 2017, at 12:28 AM, officers from the Palm Desert Police Department responded to a hit and run traffic collision on Hwy 111 and San Pablo Avenue, in the city of Palm Desert.  A 2015 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Blaize Bowdle, 25 years of La Quinta, drove through a barricade which was placed due to an unrelated traffic collision.   

The investigation revealed Bowdle was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. After being medically cleared at a local hospital, Bowdle was booked at the Riverside County Jail in Indio on charges of felony DUI and felony hit and run.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Palm Desert Police Department at 760-836-1600 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 760-341-STOP (7867).

The Palm Desert Police Department encourages the motoring public to not operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. To report drunk drivers, please call 911.
