Details:

At approximately 11:44 pm, on January 24th, 2010, the Rancho Mirage Police Department was notified of a “hold-up” alarm at the Marie Callender’s Restaurant, located on Hwy 111 and Frank Sinatra Drive, in Rancho Mirage. Officers arrived on scene at 11:46 hours and met with the manager who informed them that the establishment had just been robbed.

Investigators responded to the location and preliminary investigation has learned that two light-skinned Hispanic or White males entered the location and robbed the restaurant, the manager and two store employees at gunpoint. One suspect was approximately 5’ 10’ tall, 165 pounds and the other was approximately 5’ 06” tall and 190 pounds; both were in their mid 20’s.

The manager and employees were tied up and robbed of cash and other personal items. The weapon used is reported to be a black-colored, semi-automatic handgun. No shots were fired and no injuries were sustained. The suspects fled from the location after the robbery and the direction of travel is unknown. No vehicle was seen or heard.
