On Thursday, July 18, 2019, about 4:27 p.m., Deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a report of a three vehicle major injury traffic collision on Nason Street and Alessandro Boulevard in the city of Moreno Valley.

Traffic Deputies from the Moreno Valley Station along with personnel from the Moreno Valley Fire Department and paramedics arrived within minutes and discovered a male driver unresponsive. The male driver suffered multiple traumatic injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The use of drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in this collision.

Members of the Moreno Valley Station’s Traffic Reconstruction Team responded and investigated this collision.  Northbound vehicle traffic on Nason Street between Cactus Avenue and Alessandro Boulevard was closed during this investigation.
