Details:

On Sunday, June 23, 2019 at approximately 3:00pm, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Moreno Valley Station responded to a medical aid call involving a male juvenile not breathing. Fire and medical personnel arrived first, rendered first aid and immediately transported the juvenile to a local hospital for life saving treatment. Upon arrival, the juvenile underwent emergency surgery and is currently in critical condition.

Investigators from the Moreno Valley Station responded and assumed the investigation. During the subsequent investigation deputies and investigators located a second female juvenile victim at the residence who was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The second victim is currently in stable condition. The investigation revealed suspects identified as Eric Pacheco, 34 and Tanya Conchola, 38 both of Moreno Valley were responsible for severe child abuse of both victims located at the residence. In addition, other juveniles were contacted and determined to have been abused by the suspects for a considerable time frame.

Both Pacheco and Conchola were arrested on four counts each of 273a PC, Child abuse likely to produce great bodily injury. Both suspects were later transported to Robert Presley Detention Center and booked on the above charges. Bail was set at 2.5 Million dollars for Pacheco and $140,000 for Conchola.
