On Sunday, June 21, 2019, investigators from Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Moreno Valley Station were notified of possible child pornography manufacturing and distribution within the city of Moreno Valley. A cyber tip was sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children commonly known as NCMEC. Representatives from NCMEC notified local law enforcement officials with the Riverside County Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement Task Force (SAFE) which is comprised of several agencies within the county including Riverside Police and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. The SAFE task force agents provided information which led investigators to the origin of the content.
