Deputies responded to a business in unincorporated Corona when an employee reported her coworker was a victim of domestic violence. The suspect, 45 year-old Jason Rhodes, of Riverside, abused the adult female victim over a period of time before forcibly taking her vehicle and fleeing the area. The Riverside Police Department assisted in locating and detaining the suspect in the city of Riverside, where deputies arrested him and recovered the stolen vehicle.
Rhodes was booked at Cois Byrd Detention Center for Torture, Carjacking, and Domestic Violence.
