On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, investigators from the Lake Elsinore Station were conducting directed enforcement in the unincorporated community of Lakeland Village.  During a traffic enforcement stop, investigators arrested Shaun Murillo, a 38-year-old male from Lake Elsinore, for possession of a stolen firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and operating an unregistered vehicle.  Murillo was booked in the Cois Byrd Detention Center for the charges.
