Details:

On Friday, July 5, 2019, about 12:04 AM, deputies responded to a report of a fatal hit and run traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Mission Trail and Sylvester Road, in the City of Wildomar. A resident walking in the area located the victim lying against a fence near the intersection.  Medical personnel were the first to arrive on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.  The victim’s name is being withheld at this time, pending notification of next of kin. The Lake Elsinore Station Traffic Team is conducting a full investigation into the collision. 

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with further information about the collision is encouraged to contact Deputy Petersen at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station, (951) 245-3300.
