Donald Brandt

On the afternoon of Saturday, April 13, 2019, deputies responded to a disturbance in the area of Cedarhill Lane and Rosewood Court, in the city of Lake Elsinore.  An adult male, identified as 33 year-old Donald Brandt, of Lake Elsinore, confronted several teenage juvenile males over playing football in the street.  An altercation ensued when Brandt attempted to assault the juveniles.  Brandt was struck with a punch, and threatened to return with a handgun. 

The juveniles fled to nearby homes, and deputies arrived to find Brandt at the scene in his vehicle.  Brandt was in possession of a loaded and concealed firearm.  He was placed under arrest and ultimately booked at Cois Byrd Detention Center for making Criminal Threats, Possession of a Concealed Handgun, and Child Endangerment.  None of the parties involved sustained serious injuries.
