Jacob Casey

On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at approximately 5:50 PM, officers from the Lake Elsinore Police Department were in the area of Third Street and Cambern Avenue, in the city of Lake Elsinore in reference to searching for, Jacob Casey, age 31, wanted in connection with recent thefts.

Officers located Casey and attempted to detain him. Casey fled in a Red Chevrolet Silverado, which was later determined to be stolen.  Officers attempted to stop Casey, but he continued to evade officers and a pursuit ensued.

Officers followed Casey through the streets of Lake Elsinore, until the Silverado he was driving got stuck in a ditch and became inoperable.

Casey was later detained and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center.
