Details:

On Sunday, April 28, 2019, officers of  the Wildomar Police Department responded to a report of a traffic collision on Bundy Canyon Road near Almond, Wildomar. Upon their arrival, officers learned a Mazda 3 left the roadway, impacted a street sign, a chain link fence and then collided with a cinder block wall.  The driver of the Mazda was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name is being withheld at this time, pending notification of next of kin. The Lake Elsinore Traffic Team is conducting a full investigation into the cause of the collision.  Alcohol/drugs may be a factor in this collision. Both directions of Bundy Canyon Road were closed for approximately 5 hours during the investigation.
