Albert George Williams

On Friday, January 19, 2018, in Department S304 of the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta, Defendant Albert George Williams, 68 years old and former resident of Lake Elsinore, was convicted on nine counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14 years of age, one count digital penetration/oral copulation on a child under 10 years of age and 1 count of witness intimidation. Albert George Williams was sentenced to 200 years to life in state prison. 

Background:
On November 3, 2012, an investigation began in the city of Lake Elsinore when a ten-year-old girl reported to her parents she was molested by her neighbor, Albert George Williams, who was also her Karate instructor. At the time, Mr. Williams operated a Karate studio from his garage. This investigation lead to other victims who told investigators of additional molestations by Mr. Williams. In July 2014, Albert George Williams was convicted for these crimes and sentenced to 150 years to life in state prison.

Mr. Williams appealed his conviction and the California Appeals Court ruled in his favor and the conviction was overturned. The case was sent back to Riverside County and re-tried in 2017. Albert George Williams was again convicted on multiple counts of lewd and lascivious acts, digital penetration/oral copulation of a minor and witness intimidation.
