Kyle Kammers

In May 2019, school administrators from the Corona-Norco Unified School District informed law enforcement about a possible inappropriate relationship at John F. Kennedy Middle College High School between a school employee and a seventeen-year-old female student. Due to the nature of this incident, investigators assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station assumed the investigation.

The investigation revealed Kyle Kammers, a 33-year-old resident of Riverside, began an inappropriate relationship with a student who attended John F. Kennedy Middle College High School. Kammers and the student began interacting with each other at the school and communicated through text messaging and other social media platforms. During some of their interactions, it was alleged Kammers started a sexual relationship with the student and received multiple inappropriate photographs of the minor.

On June 20, 2019, a search warrant was served at Kammers residence located in the 3300 block of July Drive. Kammers was located at his residence and taken into custody without further incident. He was ultimately transported and booked into the Riverside County Jail for various crimes, which included sexual assault against a minor.

This investigation was a collaborated effort between investigators assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Computer & Technology Crime High-Tech Response Team (CATCH). This is still an active investigation. Anyone with information pertaining to this investigation is encouraged to contact Investigator Patrick at the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station by calling (951) 955-9234.
