On Wednesday, February 3, 2010, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station were working a directed enforcement and conducted a parole compliance sweep in the unincorporated areas of Jurupa Valley. The deputies went to the current addresses of parolees and conducted compliance searches of their residence, which included their bedrooms and any common areas they have access to. The compliance checks were conducted to ensure that the parolees were complying with the terms of their parole. Deputies conducted compliance checks at over 20 locations within the Jurupa Valley area.
Seven people were arrested for violations that ranged from possession of illegal narcotics, under the influence of illegal narcotics, child endangerment, and active warrants. Arrested were:
- Alberto Murrillo, 28 years old of Rubidoux, 1 felony warrant and 1 misdemeanor warrant.
- Larry Wilson, 54 years old of Rubidoux, possession of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, and arole violation.
- Roberta Mancera, 23 years old of Rubidoux, possession of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, under the influence of a controlled substance, and a probation violation.
- John Placensia, 55 years old of Rubidoux, child endangerment and possession of marijuana.
- Alejandro Mancera, 29 years old of Rubidoux, 1 misdemeanor warrant.
- Gustavo Arteaga, 42 years old of Rubidoux, possession of marijuana (without a recommendation.)
- Peter Taylor, 44 years old of Rubidoux, possession of hypodermic needle or syringe.
All suspects arrested for alleged felonies were transported to the Robert Presley Detention Center for booking pending notification of State Parole and/or Probation.
