Update 07-13-2019: 

On Saturday, July 13, 2019, about 5:11 PM, a second juvenile passenger was pronounced deceased at Riverside University Health System Medical Center in the City of Moreno Valley.


On Friday, July 12, 2019, about 8:38 AM, deputies assigned to the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Sanderson Avenue north of Cottonwood Avenue in the City of San Jacinto regarding a major injury traffic collision.  The preliminary investigation revealed a burgundy, Scion coupe was traveling northbound on Sanderson Avenue, veered to the right and collided into the drainage culvert causing major damage to the vehicle.  An adult female driver and three juvenile passengers were located inside the vehicle.  All four occupants were transported by ambulance to Riverside University Health System Medical Center in the City of Moreno Valley for treatment.  One of the juvenile passengers is deceased.  Preliminarily, alcohol and or drugs do not appear to be a factor in this collision.  The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact Deputy Rutigliano at the San Jacinto Station at 951-654-2702.
