On Wednesday, January 27, 2010, deputies responded to the 40000 block of Poppy Drive, in the unincorporated area of Hemet, regarding a residential burglary. A resident arrived home and noticed signs of a break-in. Upon entering the home, the resident heard noises from within and found various items missing.
During the investigation, deputies learned of a possible suspect who may have been responsible for the burglary. Deputies responded to the suspect’s residence in the 26000 block of Jackie Drive. Deputies received permission to enter and search the suspect’s residence and located several items of the victim’s stolen property.
Arrested for possession of stolen property and residential burglary was Abel Campos Jr, (29 yrs). He was booked into custody at the Smith Correctional Facility.
