15500 block of Avenida Descanso, unincorporated area of South Desert Hot Springs
On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, members of the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force (CVVCGTF) served a weapons/narcotics related search warrant at a residence located within the 15500 block of Avenida Descanso, located in the unincorporated area of South Deserts Hot Springs.
As result of the search warrant CVVCGTF members located narcotics and a high capacity magazine. 30-year-old Jaime Orozco was arrested for being a felon in possession of ammunition and 26-year-old Jorge Ochoa was arrested for possession of narcotics for sales, possession of a high capacity magazine, and committing a felony while out on bail. Both were booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility, located in the city of Banning.
