On Thursday, March 28, 2019, at 5:15 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force conducted a property check near the 73000 block of Quivira Street in Thousand Palms.  During the check they arrested William Mankins, 50 of Thousand Palms for possession of methamphetamine for sales.  Mankins also had an active narcotics related arrest warrant.  He was transported to the Indio Jail where he was booked.
