On June 2, 2019, at about 4:42 p.m., deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station were dispatched to a report of an unknown trouble in the 400 block of Kellogg St., Lake Elsinore. Upon arrival, deputies met with the reporting party who believed her family member inside was in need of medical attention. Deputies made entry into the residence and located a deceased female with significant trauma to her body. Deputies found a second female inside and summoned paramedics to evaluate her condition. This subject was transported to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening medical condition. The crime scene was secured, and investigators from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station and the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded.
This investigation is still on-going, but there are no outstanding suspects in this case. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to family.
