Suspects Arrested 12-17-13:
Detectives from the Central Homicide Unit, San Jacinto Police Department, and the Hemet Sheriff Station continued with the investigation into three separate murders occurring in the city of San Jacinto and on the Soboba Indian reservation.
Raymond Barrera, age 23 of San Jacinto, Tawpash Durnin, age 20 of San Jacinto, and Robert Hernandez, age 18 of San Jacinto, have all been charged with homicide in the three murders.
On July 13, 2013, at about 11:36 PM, deputies from the Perris Sheriff Station responded to the 1900 block of Murrieta Road regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival deputies located a black male adult in the front yard of the residence. The male victim sustained gunshot wound injuries and was transported to transported to Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
The victim, identified as Michael James Brown, age 29 of Hemet, succumbed to his injuries. Detectives from the Central Homicide Unit and the Perris Sheriff Station are currently working the case. No arrests have been made.
