Details:

On October 29, 2019, at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Cabazon Station, along with assistance from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Marijuana Enforcement Team, Aviation Team, and Corrections Division, served two marijuana cultivation warrants in the unincorporated county area of Poppet Flats.

A total of 1,255 potted marijuana plants, 1,506 pounds of harvested and processed marijuana, 3 firearms, one of which was reported stolen, and several thousand dollars in US currency associated with the illegal sales of marijuana were seized. The total estimated street value of the marijuana seized is approximately $1 million dollars.

Nine suspects were arrested on charges ranging from cultivation of marijuana, possession for sales of marijuana, possession of a stolen firearm, and probation violations.
