On Friday, January 22, 2010, about 1:25 PM deputies from the Cabazon Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a man that had been stabbed. Upon their arrival the deputies located a 48-year-old male who had been stabbed multiple times.
Preliminary indications are that a landlord-tenant dispute escalated into a fight and the landlord was stabbed multiple times. His injuries are not life-threatening, and he was transported to Desert Hospital for treatment.
Deputies were able to locate a person of interest and there is one person of interest outstanding.
