James Cook, 23 Details:
Officers from the La Quinta Police Department responded to a burglary-in-progress call in the 45000 block of Desert Sand Drive, City of La Quinta. Investigation revealed a suspect entered a partially-open garage and took items from within. The victim confronted the suspect and the suspect ran from the location with the victim, giving chase. The suspect jumped several fences in the surrounding neighborhood in an attempt to escape. Officers from La Quinta Police Department responded and after a lengthy search located the suspect, James Cook, age 23 of La Quinta. Suspected evidence was also found linking Cook to the crime. Cook was booked into the Indio Jail for residential burglary and violation of his probation.
