Details:

Since September 26, 2009, John Payne has committed seven burglaries at retail stores in Menifee, Murrieta, Norco, Mira Loma, Lake Elsinore and Upland. He enters the businesses and places large quantities of DVDs in a duffle bag then leaves without paying for the merchandise. To date, the total loss to the businesses is in the thousands of dollars.

Payne is described as an African-American male, age 30, approximately 5’7” tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He is driving a white 1999 Chevy Malibu, 4-door, California License # 5GYM093. Payne’s car looks similar to the car depicted below.

The Menifee Police Department is asking anyone with information on Payne’s whereabouts to call Detective Glenn Johnson, at the Menifee Police Department, at (951) 201-0540.
