Jovante Robinson, 18 Details:
On October 28, 2009, at 12:20 p.m., the Moreno Valley Police Department responded to the 17700 block of Lasselle Avenue to investigate a reported strong armed robbery near the Rancho Verde High School. Officers spoke with the female victim and learned that a male suspect forcibly stole her I-Pod before fleeing the area. The victim sustained minor injuries as she struggled with the suspect during the robbery.
The investigation was continued by the Robbery Suppression Team (RST). The suspect was identified as Jovante Robinson, 18 years, of Perris. On following morning, October 29, 2009, RST officers arrested Robinson and booked him at the Robert Presley Detention Center for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Robbery.
