On Tuesday, October 27, 2009, Investigators and Officers from the Palm Desert Police Special Enforcement Team arrested two men for numerous vehicle burglaries occurring in the parking lot of the business complex located in the 77-900 block of Country Club Dr. in the City of Palm Desert. The arrests were made as a result of several days of surveillance and follow-up into a spree of vehicle burglaries occurring in the area.
Arrested for burglary conspiracy and possession of stolen property were 27-year-old Matthew Alan Ray of Indio and 22-year-old Isaac Carillo, also from Indio. At the time of the arrest Carillo was on probation and had an outstanding felony warrant for domestic violence and violation of probation. Both men were booked into the Indio jail on the above listed charges.
Matthew Alan Ray, 27 Isaac Carillo, 22 During the investigation the home of both Ray and Carillo were searched and numerous items of evidence and stolen property were recovered. These items are being identified, documented and released back to the victims.
