Edwin De Rosas, 37 On 10-21-09, at 1848 hours, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station were dispatched to a lewd acts with a child past that occurred in the 14000 block of Fern Creek Ct., Eastvale. Information revealed that two 16-year-old females were given alcohol by the suspect, Edwin De Rosas, 37, of Eastvale earlier in the day. After drinking a bottle of vodka, the girls became intoxicated and or ill. While the victims were semi-conscious, the suspect tried to forcibly remove one of the victim’s pants; however, he was unable to do so. He then lifted one of the victims’ shirt and bra, touching and photographing her breasts.
Investigators from the Jurupa Valley Station were contacted and assumed the investigation. A search was conducted of the Fern Creek location. Items of evidence related to the incident were recovered and booked into evidence.
The suspect was arrested without incident. He was booked at RPDC for 220 (a) PC, Assault to Commit Rape, 243.4 (a) PC, Sexual Battery, 311.11. (a) PC, Possession of Child Pornography, and 272 (a) (1) PC, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
