On October 13, 2009, at approximately 0710 hours, Southwest Station deputies were dispatched to the CVS Pharmacy, located at 30724 Benton Road, in the unincorporated area of Riverside County know as French Valley, reference a 211 PC Armed Robbery that had just occurred. Upon the deputies' arrival it was determined the suspect had already fled the location.
The suspect, described as a Black male adult, 30 to 40 years of age, 5’-8", 150 to 160 pounds, last seen wearing a dark blue windbreaker style jacket with a hood, dark blue jeans, white Reebok tennis shoes, white gloves, and a dark blue bandana concealing his face. The suspect was armed with an unknown-caliber, dark-colored semi-automatic hand gun. The suspect fled the location with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen driving away from the location in a 1990’s model Ford Ranger pick-up truck, white in color with a black stripe running the length of the bottom of the cab. The truck also had towing-style mirrors mounted on both the driver and passenger side doors.
