On October 11, 2009, at 2:21 a.m., Temecula Police Officer responded to the 29000 block of Stonewood Road in the city of Temecula reference a shooting at an inhabited dwelling call. An additional call to police was made reporting a victim had been shot in the leg. The victim, a 19 year-old male from the city of San Diego, sustained a single gun shot wound to the leg that was non-life-threatening.
Temecula police officers responded to the location and learned that the victim had attended a party at a nearby apartment complex. The suspect(s) were only identified as white male adults with no further description. The suspect(s) brandished a gun, chased the victim about thirty yards through a greenbelt of the property.
