On Wednesday, October 7th, approximately 11:50 pm, a male subject walked into a local Lake Elsinore hospital and told staff he had accidentally shot himself in the hand. The injuries were not consistent with a gunshot wound and the hospital contacted police.
Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station contacted the subject and initiated an investigation. The investigation let the deputies to the subject’s residence at the 30500 block of Audelo Street in Lake Elsinore.
Inside of the residence, deputies learned that the suspect was manufacturing explosives. The deputies were also able to locate a sophisticated illegal marijuana grow and further learned the location was being used as a child care facility. Arrested at the scene were Rebecca Kuzelka, 55 years, and Grey Kuzelka, 21 years.
Rebecca Kuzelka, 55 years Grey Kuzelka, 21 years Benjamin Kuzelka, 23 years Benjamin Kuzelka, 23 years, is currently in a local hospital recovering from his injuries. Upon his release he will also be taken into custody.
All three subjects will be charged with the illegal manufacturing of explosives, cultivation of marijuana and felony child endangerment.
