RIVERSIDE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT Jurupa Valley Station PRESS RELEASE Repost with suspect photos: January 13, 2006 Date/Time Written: January 13, 2006 / 1535 hours Type of Incident: Internet Child Molestation Operation Date/Time of Incident: January 6th, 7th, and 8th Location of Incident: Mira Loma Reporting Officer: Sergeant Chad Bianco File Number: Various On January 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2006, investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Jurupa Valley Station conducted an operation aimed at potential Child Molesters who use the internet to seduce minor children into engaging in various sex acts. Investigators, in conjunction with Pervertedjustice.com, used fictitious Internet profiles of twelve and thirteen year old boys and girls to converse over the Internet with adult suspects. All of the suspects engaged the "profilers" in sexually explicit conversation, which ranged from simple talk of various sex acts, to the sending of pornographic pictures, to sexually explicit videos. All of the suspects expressed their desire to meet for the purpose in engaging in various sex acts. Suspects eventually arranged to meet the person they thought to be a child at a predetermined location in Mira Loma. Once the suspects arrived, they were arrested by investigators from the Sheriff's Department. Over the three-day period, forty-nine men were arrested for felony charges of attempted lewd acts with a child under fourteen years of age. One was arrested for a misdemeanor violation of attempted annoying of a child. Two additional men were detained at the scene, but were released pending additional investigation. Jonathan Daniel Vasquez   02/12/1985   Chino Citizen volunteers who operate the website pervertedjustice.com have worked with investigators from the Riverside Sheriff's Department in the past. Over the past year, they have combined in the arrest of seven suspects for attempted child molestation. Pervertedjustice.com has also conducted several sting operations that were documented by a major network television news show. This however, was the first major operation that involved Law Enforcement. The investigation is ongoing and the Sheriff's Department expects further arrests to occur as suspects are identified.
