Riverside County Sheriff - I'm a retired Marine and after 20 plus years of service I didn't think I wanted to ever see a uniform again. That was from 2003 until now. A couple of months ago I ran across another retired marine. After having a two hour conversation with Deputy Bodner, whom I had the pleasure of serving with in the marines has changed my mindset. I went to the Academy and spoke to a recruiter. I'm waiting the results of the written exam. I can't wait to come aboard. Semper Fi' to the Marines and Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

I want to thank your department for responding so fast to a non-emergency this evening. Tonight someone shut the electricity off at our residence and our neighbors. Sargent Donald responded promptly, very professional and we truly felt, he understood our concerns.
I appreciate the follow up call, I called my neighbor to let them know 1 of the culprits had been caught.

I used to work for the "Riverside Station" when we were located in that "lovely building" on Main Street, and Bob Dotts, Ron Wade was a detectives. It's great to see familiar faces in new positions. I am now currently employed with the Lakewood Police Department in Colorado, as their crime analyst and will be retiring this coming January. Hi, I have been keeping up with the goings on of the finest Sheriff's Department in the country. I retired from Corrections in 1999 and have the fondest memories of the many years I spent working for Riverside Sheriff. I recall with great pride the fine men and women that I have known over the years, I especially thank Sheriff Smith for his leadership and great kindness to me and others in his employ. Nice site, I have been on the job in NY for 18 years and will retire on March 07, 2004. On March 08, 2004 I will be on my way to Cathedral City to get into some year round warm weather.
