Professional Student Interns and Student Aide II
Interns for the Sheriff's Department are brought in as either Professional Student Interns or as Student Aide II's. Duties that were performed by 2002-2003 interns include the following listed positions:
Administration (Accounting & Finance) - An intern will assist with a project to assist the new OASIS financial system.
Patrol/Investigations Operations - An intern will assist with a project involving criminal investigations and sex-registrant information management.
Ben Clark Training Center - An intern will assist with a project involving teaching, educational organization and facility management.
Personnel Bureau - PIO/marketing related, an intern will assist with a marketing and research project for the purposes of recruiting and retention of Sheriff's Department employees.
Crime Analysis - An intern will assist with a project involving the interpretation of criminal statistical information.
